About Us

Our Core Values

We have one foundation-stone value that determines all other values: Gospel-centrality. Being a Gospel-centered church goes beyond affirming a list of beliefs. It impacts all of life. It shapes how we relate to each other. It forms our identity and guides how we operate as a church.

To be Gospel-centered means we CELEBRATE the Gospel as the living power of God, not an old, cold, and outdated message. We should be regularly led to awe and amazement as we remember God's saving grace toward such unworthy sinners as ourselves. How could we ever take for granted such a beautiful story of redemption and rescue?!

To be Gospel-centered means that we view every aspect of LIFE in light of the gospel. We worship God in light of the Gospel, recognizing that it’s the clearest window we have to who God is. Through the death and resurrection of Jesus, the awe-inspiring love, justice, and power of God are revealed with unparalleled clarity.

To be Gospel-centered means we view our IDENTITY in light of the Gospel, joyfully remembering that God has cleansed us from our sins, made us new from the inside out, and adopted us as his sons and daughters.

To be Gospel-centered means we RELATE to others in light of the Gospel, showing them the same love, generosity, patience, and forgiveness that God has so richly shown us through Jesus.

To be Gospel-centered means we approach our MISSION in light of the gospel, understanding that the most fundamental need people have is not for food or clothing (although we should seek to help in these areas) but for a saving relationship with Jesus that will make a difference for eternity.

Basically, a Gospel-centered church is a church that can’t stop talking about this Gospel message and recognizes its relevance for every aspect of their lives.

To be Gospel-centered means to be unrelentingly committed to the following principles:

  • GLORY OF GOD FOCUSED - Desperate for him to be honored, not ourselves.

  • CHRIST EXALTING - Passionate for him to be seen, not ourselves.

  • SPIRIT DEPENDENT - Resting in his power, not our own.

  • BIBLE SATURATED - Teaching what God says, not what we think.

  • MISSION MINDED - Spreading the Gospel as Christ's church, not huddling together like a secret society of superficial religion

Our Latest Prayer Requests:

In August of 2015 we partnered with Anchored in Truth Ministries. Who woul've thought?! A family from Nazareth, PA and a church from Muscle Shoals, AL would partner together for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the glory of God? But God brings people together for his purpose; all credit to him.
